Kapusta Soup

5largepotatoes, diced
1largeonion, chopped
1largecabbage, shredded
210-1/2-ounce canchicken broth
110-1/2-ounce canvegetable broth
salt and pepper
1Tablespoongarlic powder
1teaspoonthyme
2Tablespoonsdill weed
sour cream

Combine all ingredients, except for the sour cream, and simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are done. Season to taste while cooking. Serve with a Tablespoon of sour cream on the bottom of your soup bowl... really, try it. This is the Ukranian way of serving this soup.
