| 2/3 | Cup | evaporated milk | ||
| 3/4 | Cup | butter, softened | ||
| 1 | Cup | chopped pecans | ||
| 1 | 12-ounce package | chocolate chips | ||

| Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt caramels in 1/3 cup of milk. Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, softened butter, nuts, and 6 ounces of chocolate chips. Press 1/2 of this mixture into a buttered 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Take out of the oven and sprinkle the remaining 6 ounces of chocolate chips over crust. Pour caramel mixture over all. Crumble remaining mixture over all. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool and cut into small bars. |
