Beer Batter

2cupsall-purpose flour
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1tablespoonsalt
1-1/2 teaspoonsgarlic powder
1-1/2cupsbeer

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and garlic powder. Add beer and whisk until smooth. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Whisk again, then refrigerate until ready to use. Can be made 1 day ahead if desired.
